I have 2 Two day tickets that were purchased in 2020 and not used due to a family member with Covid. How do I apply them back to my account. We are planning a trip in May. Thank you.

Hi Sharon! Welcome to planDisney! It's always great to speak with a fellow Palmetto State resident! Thanks for stopping by with your question!

Sharon, I hope your family member is doing well and recovered from the illness they were dealing with. You are not alone in this scenario. Many Guests had to postpone their Walt Disney World stay in the past two years due to these circumstances. Although theme park tickets are nonrefundable, you will be able to apply the value of the tickets to your upcoming trip. Walt Disney World has done a fantastic job of ensuring that every Guest can take their next vacation when they feel comfortable doing so. I would suggest reaching out to the Existing Ticket line to speak with a Cast Member for assistance. This individual will be able to apply this value to your May park tickets.

Since your visit is about a month away, I recommend getting this squared away as soon as possible. Theme park reservations are now required to visit any of the four parks daily. You will need a reservation and park ticket upon entry. When you call to get your tickets, the Cast Member may be able to help you make your reservations as well. If not, simply log on to your My Disney Experience account and select "Park Reservations". As long as your tickets are linked to your account, you will be able to secure your reservations online. You can make changes up until the day of, but park availability is subject to capacity, and entry is not guaranteed.

One positive that may have come from postponing your stay is that now you can be a part of the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration! Look out for the two new nighttime spectaculars at both the Magic Kingdom Park and EPCOT. Disney Enchantment and Harmonious are can't miss experiences that have added the perfect nightcap to your park day at each respective park. Remy's Ratatouille Adventure opened up at the start of the celebration and can be found in the France Pavilion in the World Showcase. And by the way, WOW! What an attraction this is! I may be slightly biased as this is my favorite Disney movie, but I love how immersive this ride is.

Sharon, you picked a beautiful time of year to visit the Walt Disney World Resort. The weather is warm enough to enjoy all the amenities at your resort but not as hot as the heat of the summer can be. You can also take advantage of the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival that takes place during this time. Between the beautiful topiaries and delicious outdoor kitchens, there is something for every Guest to enjoy here!

Have a magical visit, Sharon! Stop back anytime to planDisney with your planning questions!

    See ya real soon!
