Hi John, welcome to planDisney!
Gawrsh, you must be Goofy with excitement about your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation. You'll find Goofy and the rest of the
Fab 50 character sculptures spread out in the
four theme parks as part of Walt Disney World's 18-month-long 50th Anniversary Celebration. Let's get to work making sure your Fab nine are all on the same planning page.
Valid park admission and park pass reservations are needed for everyone in your party to visit the theme parks except the two-year-old. Children under three are Guests of Mickey and can just show up at the park with their accompanying adult(s). How awesome is that?!
Step one, John, is to make sure the other eight members of your planning party are linked as
Family and Friends in your
My Disney Experience account. To add Family and Friends
online, create or login to your My Disney Experience account, then click "Add a Guest." Select "I'll enter their name and age." Enter their name, age, and birthday. Adults and children 13 and over may have their own accounts or have their profiles managed by another adult. Children under 13 must have their profiles managed by an adult. If there are members of your party that have or would like their own My Disney Experience accounts, click the "Invite this Guest to connect" option and enter their email address. Once they accept the invitation, they will appear on your Family and Friends list. The Guests for which you select "I want to manage all plans for this Guest" will automagically appear in your account. Once all eight members of your party are visible on your Family and Friends list, proceed to step two.
Step two is to link your two previously purchased park hopper tickets with one day remaining to your My Disney Experience account. Click "Select" under the
ticket icon and enter the 12-digit ID number from each ticket. Use the scroll arrows to see various examples of ticket types. As part of the linking process, you'll be asked to assign each ticket to a member of your Family and Friends list. (Aren't you glad you completed step one?) If your tickets were purchased before 2010, you'll need to speak with a Cast Member at (407) 939-4357. Once your 4-day passes have been linked to your My Disney Experience account, confirm that the ticket expiration date aligns with your travel dates and proceed to step three.
Step three is to
purchase six, one park per day tickets for your preferred date of use. The two age categories are Ages 10+ and Ages 3-9. You indicate how many of each ticket you want before clicking "Continue." As part of the check-out process, you will be asked to assign each ticket to a member of your Family and Friends list. (Aren't you glad you completed step one?) After purchase, these tickets should automagically appear in your My Disney Experience account. There's just one more step left!
Now that everyone's connected in My Disney Experience with a valid admission, your final step is to make
park pass reservations for the eight non-toddlers in your party. You'll once again be glad you completed step one.
