Hiya Anne,
Welcome to planDisney! How exciting that your schedule has allowed an extra day of fun! Walt Disney World Resort has so many incredible details that you need as many days as you can spare to get it all in. My family and I love trying to find the hidden Mickey Mouse heads throughout each Theme Park and trying to spot all the other subtle details.
Before I walk you through adding an extra day, you should double-check that your Theme Park tickets are linked to your
My Disney Experience account. While you are online, don’t forget to check the
Disney Park Pass availability calendar; just because you secure an extra Theme Park ticket doesn’t mean you can enter the Theme Parks on that additional day automatically. You must have a valid
Disney Park Pass Reservation to accompany the extra day. Now that that is settled, we can move on to getting your extra day added.
First, log into your My Disney Experience account and select “My Plans” from the menu. Under “Tickets and Memory Maker,” locate your current two-day Theme Park tickets. Next to your tickets, you should see an option to change/modify your reservation (it is a blue button). Select the button, and the on-screen prompts will direct you to adjust your tickets! That should do the trick, Anne! If, for some reason, you are unable to add the extra day, please reach out to a Cast Member in
Website Support. They are incredible and should be able to modify your existing Theme Park tickets to add the additional day.
Before I forget, immediately after securing the extra day, don’t forget to make the extra Disney Park Pass Reservation! Once you have done that, you will be all set to go. Have the most magical visit, and please come back and see us if you need anything else!
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
