Hey there, Karen!
ChEARs to an upcoming visit and a year full of many more!
On many occasions,
theme park tickets can be used towards the upgrade to a
Magic Key. I recommend
calling Magic Key Membership Services whenever you get a chance to see if you can use your 2-day tickets towards your Magic Key. Since you’ve already purchased your Magic Key, your situation is a little different. Most people, including my best friend, will use their tickets towards the purchase of their Magic Key Pass. Since you already have both, I always recommend calling. A Cast Member there will be able to discuss your options.
If you are local, you might even want to visit one of the
Disneyland Resort Main Entrance Ticket booths before making any changes on your end! Speaking to a Cast Member, in person, always seems to work out better. Plus, any confusion is much easier to get through when you’re able to talk face to face.
As always, expired and wholly unused theme park tickets can be used towards the purchase of a new ticket that is, equal to or greater than, the original purchase price. If you rather hang on to it for next year, once your pass expires, you can too. Although, I think speaking to a Cast Member about possibly combining them would be a much better idea. Especially since, after becoming a Magic Key holder, I’m sure you’ll never want to
let it go!
Good luck and thanks again!
