Hi Kayla, and welcome to planDisney!
I am so sorry to hear that someone in your travel party cannot utilize the available theme park ticket when you visit
Walt Disney World Resort.
I know that it can be a disappointment, especially when you are unsure what will happen with the theme park ticket. The good news is that as long as the ticket is unused, the value of the ticket is still valid. So the amount paid for the ticket can be used to purchase another theme park ticket in the future for that individual. The new ticket purchase price must be equal to or greater than the amount paid for the original ticket. If the cost is more than the actual purchase price, they may have to pay an additional fee. Another option could be to have someone else go in that person's place and reassign the unused ticket to that person. To reassign the ticket, you will need to go to the "My Reservations" section of your
My Disney Experience account, select the ticket you wish to reassign, and proceed through the process.
Please return should you have additional questions; we are here to help.
Have a magical time!
Raquel
