Hi, I have two daughters of 12 and 15 years old. We are going to WDW in January,2013 for 8 days, in a Resort. What are the best attractions for their ages? I am also confused if I should or not buy a dining package, because of their ages.

Wow, this trip sounds like it's going to be awesome. I am curious where you are going to stay. With accommodations ranging from Disney's elegant Lakeside Boardwalk Inn to watching the giraffes and zebras roam the savannah at the Animal Kingdom Lodge, Walt Disney World resorts are amazing places to stay. My current favorite is the Cabins at Fort Wilderness. The cabins are big and space enough for all three of you. My kids loved the golf cart we rented and I am sure your's will too. It is so unlike a typical hotel that it is worth a look. As for attractions, your kids are old enough to enjoy pretty much everything the parks offer. From the chills of the Haunted Mansion to the thrills of Space Mountain, there is so much fun waiting for all of you. Each of the parks has some wonderful family experiences. From Soarin' Over California at Epcot to a real Kilimanjaro Safari at Disney's Animal Kingdom you will all find a favorite. With eight days you should have more then enough time to explore all of the parks and even enjoy some quality time at Downtown Disney. It has great food (the House of Blues has a new menu that is delicious) and more shopping then you can imagine. Add some great entertainment and you got a great night. As for the dining package, it really depends on if your girls are eaters. If they like a nice meal rather then quick service then you might enjoy a dining plan. My ladies are light eaters so we usually pass on the plan. I hope these ideas help make this the best vacation to the Happiest Place on Earth ever. See you at the parks.
