Hi, my two daughters will be turning 15 & 16 in 2019 and we will be taking a family trip to WDW from Arizona. I want to make sure that they get as much in as possible, are there any ideas on how to best plan the rides/attractions for each theme park?

    Hello, Joanna!

It sounds like you are planning a memorable vacation with your two teen daughters! BIG changes are coming to the Walt Disney World Resort, and as more attractions, dining and entertainment options are added, you could potentially experience a whole new world -- or at least a new "land" or two -- when you visit in 2019. One thing that is sure to stay the same? The importance of a good touring plan. The best thing you can do to prepare for your trip is to stay current with the updates at the Walt Disney World Resort. I like to read up on new and notable Disney Parks news on the official Disney Parks Blog.

It may also help to familiarize yourself with the attractions at each of the theme parks in advance. A full list of attractions is available on the Walt Disney World website. You can start creating a Wish List of attractions, dining and entertainment options that you think may appeal most to your teen daughters. This can help you to plan your park touring strategy, as well as FastPass+ options (if Disney's FastPass+ service is still offered in the same manner three+ years from now).

I also recommend looking over the theme park maps online before your visit. You will be able to view exactly where your family's must-see attractions are located in relation to each other. If you are hoping to experience as many attractions as possible, having a good touring plan in place can help you achieve that goal. This method of prioritizing attractions on the maps has helped my family and I save some time and energy, and I'm sure it will help you too.

I hope you and your family make many magical memories on your Walt Disney World vacation, Joanna! Please don't hesitate to stop back by the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you have any additional questions. Hope to see ya real soon!
