Hello, Velia! Welcome to planDisney, and thank you so much for coming by to chat with us about your vacation and for trusting us with your plans! When planning a trip across the ocean with your children, I can understand wanting to make sure everything is planned ahead of time, and I am so glad you brought us this question!
When it comes to making plans for children with disabilities, Walt Disney World is there for you! They have a whole department dedicated just to this, called
Disability Services. While wagons are not allowed for general Guests, you should contact Disability Services to ask what arrangements could be made and if your particular wagon type could be registered as a wheelchair! You will want to confirm this in advance, before your travels, so that everything goes as smoothly as possible for you! Just call (407) 560-2547 or email disability.services@disneyparks.com with your question!
Celia, I hope that this information helps you continue to plan your getaway with your children! I would also recommend that you consider applying for a
disability access pass with your family, which you can do at Guest Services on the first day of your vacation! In just a few short months, you will also be able to accomplish this online via your
My Disney Experience mobile app! Stay tuned to news regarding Disney Genie and other new exciting developments to come this fall.
Happy planning!
Clara
