We have two boys that will be 8 &10 and will be sailing our first cruise in May 2012 on the Disney Dream. I have read on boards here there is a pirate night. Is this true, & if so, what should I pack to make it a fun experience for our family! Th

    Hi, Michele!

Congratulations on your upcoming cruise aboard the Disney Dream -- and it's your first cruise? Oh, you really know how to start off in style!

There is a deck party entitled Pirates IN the Caribbean for cruises originating from Port Canaveral. You can check out the video about the party in the Video Library of the Planning Center. Pirate bandannas will be distributed for the party, but you may want to bring along more swash-buckling attire to amp up the festivities for your crew.  Any pirate gear or costume you have would be awesome, but if you don't have it, you won't feel left out.

I hope that helps! Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
