Hi Jodie! Don't panic! We don't want you putting any extra stress on that precious heart! With a little bit of planning, like you are doing, you all will have a wonderful time at Walt Disney World!
Your boys are at such great ages to enjoy the Parks. There is so much to see and do! And thankfully, there are many things that all of you will be able to enjoy together. Only a few of the rides are really contraindicated for you. However, be sure you pay close attention to which ones those would be. If you will pick up a Guidemap at the entrance of each of the Theme Parks, you will find those attractions marked very clearly with a RED TRIANGLE in the description of the attraction. Signs will also be posted at the entrance of each attraction. If you have any questions or concerns, please make sure you ask the Cast Member attending the entrance of that attraction. While your husband and boys are enjoying those attractions, this will be a great time for you to find a nice spot to relax, or enjoy some shopping in a nearby location.
As for planning, there are many great tools online to get you started. I would recommend that you go to a page on the Disney website for "in-depth planning" tips first, by clicking
HERE. On this page you will find "Affordable Vacation Options", tips for "Planning Your First Trip", and information on "Booking and Reservations", including a reservation timeline checklist and phone numbers to reserve Disney Resorts and more.
Once you have gotten started, come back to the Moms Panel with any additional or specific questions. We are here to help you all along the way!
I wish you all a very happy Disney vacation!
