Hi Carlyn!
I am so excited to hear you are traveling to the Walt Disney World Resort! My sons are also ages 5 and 3 and love to visit Disney Parks!
When planning, I like to check Touringplans.com to get tips and sample itineraries for touring with small children. There is also a wonderful
resource for parents of preschoolers right on the Walt Disney World website with many great ideas to get you started.
We try to start our days when the parks open, because mornings tend to be a bit cooler and the crowds are manageable. If you are taking a bus from your resort, allow an hour for travel time, especially if you have a reservation you want to keep. I also recommend a break after lunch, which is usually the hottest part of the day. Enjoy a swim or a nap at your resort and be refreshed for more evening fun!
Some of our favorite attractions in Magic Kingdom park are Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, Tomorrowland Speedway and Peter Pan's Flight. My boys also love the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade and visiting Town Square Theater to meet Mickey Mouse!
When we visit Disney's Hollywood Studios, our favorites are Star Tours - The Adventures Continue, Disney Junior - Live on Stage! and Toy Story Midway Mania! There are many Character Experiences throughout the park as well.
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park is home to our favorite stage show, Flights of Wonder, the amazing Tam Tam Drummers of Harambe, and Kilimanjaro Safaris. Our boys also love DinoLand U.S.A. for its fun atmosphere.
At Epcot, you'll find us at The Seas with Nemo & Friends, riding Spaceship Earth as a family, or exploring the World Showcase for delicious food and music!
I hope you have a wonderful vacation, Carlyn! Please let me know if you have any other questions.
