TWO bathrooms and water slides at the pool are a must....Villas are too expensive. Does the new value resort have pool slides? Considering jr. suite @ CS or maybe 2 adjoining rooms somewhere else?

    Hi Mindy,

Existing value resorts (Pop Century and the All-Star resorts) do not have pool slides. I have not seen information on the Art of Animation's pools as far as slides are concerned.  The new resort will have 3 pools! We'll have to stay tuned for detailed information on the pools at the Art of Animation.

For the cost of a Junior Suite, booking two rooms will likely be more cost effective. Consider connecting rooms at any of the moderate resorts (Coronado, Port Orleans Riverside, Port Orleans French Quarter, and Caribbean Beach).

Port Orleans French Quarter has a pool slide but it is geared to small children. If you are traveling with older kids, I would cross this off your list since the pool slide is important to your family.

Caribbean Beach has full size beds so if you want queens, cross this one off.

Port Orleans Riverside is undergoing renovations one building at a time. Rooms are being upgraded to queens.

I think Coronado Springs is an excellent choice for booking two rooms. If you have young children, request connecting ( an interior door will connect the rooms) rather than adjoining (a room next door but not with an interior connecting door).

Remember that connecting rooms is only a request and can not be guaranteed.

    Enjoy a wonderful vacation!
