MagicBands to your
My Disney Experience account.
I think I know why you are receiving an error message. It sounds like you might be trying to link MagicBands that were previously used by either the people you are traveling with or someone else.
MagicBands are not transferrable. Once a MagicBand has been linked to a profile or account, it cannot be reassigned or linked to a different account.
The good news is, MagicBands are not necessary to enjoy all the magic of Walt Disney World Resort! To access theme park tickets linked to your profile, you can create a
Disney MagicMobile pass in the
My Disney Experience app. Disney MagicMobile service will give you much of the same functionality as a MagicBand. To create a Disney MagicMobile pass, open the My Disney Experience app, select the menu in the lower right corner and then Disney MagicMobile. The app will walk you through the steps of creating your pass. Your Disney MagicMobile pass will allow you to use your admission tickets to enter the theme parks, access any Lightning Lane experiences you reserve with
Disney Genie service, and connect your
Disney PhotoPass photos to your account. Rachel, if you wish you can even just keep it simple and use your admission card to do these things as well. If you don't have a physical admission card, simply pick one up at
Guest Relations before entering the theme parks.
If you decide that you would prefer to use a MagicBand, you'll find them for sale in most retail locations at Walt Disney World Resort.
