We have two available dates in our itinerary for visiting the park and was just wondering if either periods are likely to be busier than the other? Dates are 6/26/14 - 6/29/14 or alternatively 7/3/14 - 7/5/14.

    Hi, Caroline!

I’m glad to hear your family is headed to The Happiest Place on Earth this summer!

The week of Independence Day is typically very busy at the resort (as is any major holiday, especially during the summer months) due to school vacations and many people having leave from their jobs. For that reason, I would suggest visiting during the June weekend you mentioned instead to avoid the holiday crowds. The theme parks will still be busy, but less so than during 4th of July weekend.
No matter which weekend you choose, however, the entertainment schedule will be bustling and daily park hours will be long. You’ll have plenty to explore and experience, including Fantasy Faire in Disneyland Park and Cars Land in Disney California Adventure Park!

If you’re staying on-property, be sure to take advantage of early theme park entry, which is currently offered to Guests of the Disneyland Resort Hotels on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays for Disneyland Park and on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays for Disney California Adventure Park. It’s a great way to make the most of your time and fit as much magic as possible into your vacation.

I hope this helps, Caroline, and that you have a wonderfully pixie-dusted visit! Please visit us again with any other questions you may have.

    Wishing you magic,
