Hi John,
Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney.
The key piece of planning info to know about
Walt Disney World Resort theme park tickets is that the ticket pricing is date-based. Ticket prices will vary depending on the month, week, and day of the week you plan to visit.
The great news is that you can quickly and easily see the ticket prices for your planned visit using
the ticket purchasing tools online.
Start by selecting the number of days you want to visit the theme parks. In your case, you're looking for a 5-Day Ticket with the Park Hopper Option. You'll want to select the Park Hopper Option when you select your ticket type so you can visit more than one theme park in the same day.
The next step is where you select the first day you plan to use your theme park ticket. This is where you will see the date-based theme park ticket pricing calendar, and you will see that pricing varies by date. Simply select your first day you plan to visit a theme park, and the system will calculate the total for the ticket prices.
What's helpful and convenient is that you have some
flexibility in using the tickets. The tickets are valid for a certain number of days based on the number of days on your ticket. For example, a 5-day ticket would expire 8 days after the date you begin to use the ticket. This gives you the chance to break up your theme park days with a relaxing day at your Resort hotel or some other fun around the Walt Disney World Resort.
After you select your starting date, you'll be prompted to select the number of tickets you need by age group. This is where you would select your two tickets for Ages 10+.
Keep in mind that you'll need to make theme park reservations as well as purchase theme park admission tickets. It's helpful to check out the
Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar to see when the theme parks have reservations available. You can then use the
Disney Park Pass system to make your theme park reservations.
In addition to pricing and purchasing theme park tickets on the website, you can also purchase theme park tickets through the
My Disney Experience mobile app.
Hopefully this info will get you set up quickly to purchase your theme park tickets. If you'd like some additional help, you can reach out to the Walt Disney World Resort ticketing team by calling (407)-566-4985.
John, here's wishing you a great visit to the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks.
