How fun to be planning for a day of sunshine and adventure at
Disney Castaway Cay. This island paradise is one of my favorite places to visit with my family and friends. It won't be long till you are there!
Yes, two adults can use the
Double Chiliboats at Castaway Cay. The combined weight on a Double Chiliboat must not exceed 450 pounds, so please take that into account as you make your plans. As it sounds like you'll be traveling with adults, I highly recommend taking the tram ride over to Serenity Bay, the adult-exclusive beach on Castaway Cay. I love the secluded feeling of the adults-only beach, and the nearby pathway is perfect for taking a stroll or a bike ride. There is even the Serenity Bay BBQ if you'd like to enjoy lunch there.
If you have children in your sailing party, they can look forward to Scuttle's Cove, the secure play area on the island, staffed with Disney Cruise Line counselors from the ship. My kids always loved to play here. The activities are a bit different from those on the ship, including digging in the sand for whale bones and taking part in water play.
