Hi there Katie! Welcome back to planDisney. We're so glad you've sent another question our way.
There are so many things to consider when planning a vacation to the Most Magical Place on Earth. One aspect I've always valued, and especially appreciate during these uncertain times is the ability to easily modify reservations and travel dates when plans change. I'm happy to be your guide through the ticket modification and purchase process.
First, we need to talk about how you booked your theme park tickets. If they were purchased as part of a
Walt Disney World vacation package, you will need to call (407) 939-5277 to have the entire package modified to accommodate your needs. A friendly Cast Member will be happy to assist in adding the children to the package and altering the ticket dates.
If you purchased your theme park admission separately from a Resort Hotel stay, then you can simply buy the children's tickets with your desired travel dates on the
Walt Disney World ticketing site. Regarding the existing adult tickets, you can modify ticket dates on My Disney Experience, but to discuss
possibilities for changing the type of ticket originally purchased, you will need to reach out to a Cast Member.
I suggest calling (407) 566-4985 to take care of this issue.
Katie, once your tickets are squared away, let the planning begin! Be sure to reserve your theme park days in advance through the
Disney Park Pass System and
book any must-do dining up to 60 days before arrival. If this is your first time returning to the magic since July's reopening, take a few moments to
familiarize yourself with the latest health and safety measures Disney has taken to make Guests feel comfortable in the parks and resorts. My family visited in August, and we were quite pleased with the precautions and care in place. We are already dreaming of when we can fly off to Neverland again!
Thanks again for getting in touch, and if there is anything else we can help with as your stay approaches, please come back and see us again.
You've got a friend in me,
Betsy
