I have two actually, We are planning a trip in November (Florida Resident) but was wondering if we can purchase a one day pass at the park that we chose to go to? Also, can we bring in our own food. Simple, sandwich and crackers?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Kelly!

You are certainly more than welcome to purchase a single-day Walt Disney World Resort Theme Park ticket on the day of your arrival. Each Theme Park has a number of ticket windows right at the entrance, and the friendly Cast Members there can help you get the ticket you need. (As a Florida resident, make sure you have your Florida ID, though, to get your resident discount.)

If possible, though, I would really encourage you to purchase your tickets in advance online. By connecting those ticket numbers with your My Disney Experience account, you’ll be able to make up to three complimentary FastPass+ reservations in whichever Theme Park you plan to visit (up to 30 days in advance of your arrival--or up to 60 days in advance if you’re staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel). The FastPass+ system is a wonderful way to help cut down on your wait times for some of the more popular Theme Park attractions and can really help you make the most out of a single day at Walt Disney World Resort.

As for the question about bringing in your own food, you are more than welcome to! Just take a look at the size restrictions for coolers and be aware that you cannot bring in any glass bottles or any loose ice inside a cooler or other container. We bring in our own snacks and beverages to nibble on throughout the day, but we also enjoy indulging in those signature Walt Disney World Resort goodies like a Dole Whip or a Mickey-shaped Pretzel.

I hope you enjoy your time at Walt Disney World Resort, Kelly! Let us know if there are any other tips or recommendations we can offer you. We hope to see you real soon.
