We want to come for 10/10 to 10/12. We are two very active seniors. Definitely want to do Animal Kingdom and Epcot. I've been told to do the upgraded safari. Please let me know which hotel is the most convenient to both.

Hello Jeanne, and welcome to planDisney!

Your arrival date is around the corner, and now is the time to lock in the resort you would like to enjoy and which experiences you plan to participate in. I love that you want to make the most of it while there.

If I had to recommend a convenient resort, I would recommend three (one in each resort category in no specific order). The first resort would be Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, specifically the rooms with the Savannah view. This resort has yummy restaurants to choose from and onsite activities, such as Wild About Painting at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, allowing you to paint your masterpiece, which will become a keepsake. Second, with just the right amount of amenities, Disney’s Pop Century Resort is a great option, mainly because you will have access to the Disney Skyliner which means you can arrive at EPCOT with the perfect ariel views. Last, Disney’s Port Orleans - French Quarter is another favorite of mine because the grounds are beautiful, and in your free time, you can rent a bike or hop the Disney Water Transportation and cruise to Disney Springs to unwind from the day and grab a bite to eat and do a bit of shopping. No matter which resorts you decide on, you will have access to the Disney Bus Transportation and the Minnie Van Service (should you choose to utilize it). Either way, the memories will be solidified.

Please let us know if you have additional questions prior to your arrival in the coming days.

    Have the most magical experience!
