My twins will be turning 3 on in Oct. We are planning our trip in Sept. I've read kids 3 and under get free park admission. Will we be asked for proof of age at the gate?

    Hello Marlena,

We have been taking our children to Walt Disney World since they were both infants.  They both visited for the first time as infants and have gone multiple times since then.  Last year was the first time my daughter needed a ticket.  It definitely helps the budget when the little ones don't need a ticket!

Children under 3 do not require park admission at Walt Disney World.  Cast Members typically will not ask for proof of age for toddlers.  We do carry a copy of their birth certificates with us, but have never needed them.  You may find a Cast Member may ask your child how old they are, but that is the extent of any age checks we've noticed.

Enjoy your upcoming vacation!  Please come back and see me if you have any questions on traveling with children under three.  I'd love to help you plan your pixie-dusted vacation details!

    Have a magical day,
    Ashley
