I have 8 y.o. twins and a 1 y.o.. We will be traveling to DL the first week of October. I was wondering how the Parent Switch works if we end up bringing grandma with us. Can she ride with my husband and the twins while I keep the baby and then I ride?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Megan. Thanks for stopping by with your question for us.

The Rider Switch Pass at the Disneyland Resort is a useful service which allows Guests to go on an attraction while an adult stays with the non-riders. This program is available on attractions with minimum height requirements. Your party will enter the attraction line together, and be sure to notify a Disney Cast Member at the entrance of the line you're interested in utilizing the Rider Switch Pass. When the first group is done enjoying the attraction, the second adult presents the Rider Switch Pass for his or her turn, without having to re-enter the line. This greatly reduces long wait times.

Megan, because each Rider Switch pass is good for up to three Guests for readmission on the ride, you can take two other Guests with you to enjoy the ride again when it is your turn.

I hope this information is helpful in clarifying how the Rider Switch program works. If you have more questions, please do not hesitate to swing by the Panel again.

    Have a magical day,

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes or Disney Cruise Line voyages with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
