Hi, there!
Welcome to planDisney, Allison. I'm so happy you stopped by and even happier to hear you're planning a visit to the
Walt Disney World Resort! There's no place I'd rather be, that's for sure.
As a mom of three, I totally understand your concern. Exploring the theme parks requires a lot of walking and little legs tire quickly! While there is no explicit mention of bringing something like the Micro Mobility Micro Trike into the theme parks, I think it may fall under the "recreational devices" bullet point listed in the
Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules. You could take your Micro Trike and see what kind of determination is made at the security checkpoint, but I very much recommend having a backup plan in case a Cast Member tells you that it's not permitted in the theme parks.
Double strollers are available to rent at all four theme parks and Disney Springs. Your twins should be able to sit comfortably in one of the stroller rentals with no problem! My youngest is 5-years old and while she has certainly grown out of using a stroller at home, she still relies on one for our pixie-dusted adventures at the Walt Disney World Resort. We bring our own stroller, the City Mini Single, and she fits very comfortably in it! I can also tell you that when my older kiddos were about that age, they both fit comfortably in our City Mini Double Stroller. It was perfect for resting their legs! If you choose to bring a stroller, just be sure that it's
no larger than 31" in width and 52" in length.
Finding your stroller among a sea of others in the designated stroller parking areas can be tricky. Be sure to make yours stand out! I always tie a Mickey Mouse ribbon around the handlebar of our stroller, but I've seen Guests use nameplates, balloons, and even battery-operated twinkle lights!
I hope this was helpful, Allison. Please let us know if you have any other questions about the Walt Disney World Resort! We'd love to help you plan a magical visit.
Ashley
