My twin granddaughters are very close to 40 inches and we leave for Disneyland in a week there’s no need to purchase the Max Pass if they don’t meet the height requirements Is there a way they can be measured at the main gate prior to us purchasing tix

    Welcome, Julie!

Visiting the Disneyland Resort with young twins is more than twice the fun! Your little princesses are going to have a magical time. If you are uncertain about whether you would like to purchase Disney MaxPass, you are welcome to wait until after you have entered the parks to decide if it is right for you. That’s because MaxPass may be purchased in one of two ways. The first way is done at the same time as the theme park tickets purchase and is valid for all the days of your one-day or multi-day tickets. The other way is to purchase MaxPass one day at a time. This second option may be done after you have already activated your tickets by entering in one of the parks to begin your visit. Simply tap on the “Get FASTPASS with Disney MaxPass” item inside the + icon at the bottom of the screen in the Disneyland app.

If your Mouseketeers would like to see how they measure up for a given attraction, simply ask a Cast Member at the attraction entrance for assistance. Each attraction with height restrictions has its own standard measuring station. If your granddaughters stretch up high enough to touch the bar, they are cleared to ride! If you find they are tall enough to experience many of the attractions that feature Disney FASTPASS, that may be a great reason to go ahead and tap that “Get FASTPASS” button in the Disneyland app to add on MaxPass to their tickets.

Should they happen to not measure up just yet for some of the attractions, there are still some exciting FASTPASS attractions that have no height requirement that may interest your granddaughters. Also, if you happen to have MaxPass added to your ticket, you may enjoy unlimited downloads of all your party’s Disney PhotoPass photos for the day, even if other members of your party don’t have MaxPass.

Of course, there are also plenty of other great activities for your young ones. To make their visit especially memorable, you might consider enjoying a Character Dining experience. Or a magical transformation at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at the Disneyland Resort will certainly bring bright smiles to their faces. My daughter was thrilled to experience her Minnie Mouse-themed transformation followed by a visit to Minnie's House. The PhotoPass photos of Minnie dancing with my daughter are priceless treasures in our family photo album. Reservations for these experiences are strongly recommended.

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Julie. I hope to hEAR from you again sometime.
