I have twin girls who are graduating high school this weekend. We have booked a disney trip and leave next weekend. Does Disney do anything or have special for graduates?

Welcome to planDisney, Paige! From one Louisiana girl to another, I hope you and your girls are ready to laissez les bons temps roulez at the Most Magical Place on Earth in just a few more days! You're in for double the magic, double the celebrations, and double the memories, so let's talk about some ways to make their graduation celebration extra special!

First, be sure to grab a Celebration Button from your Disney Resort hotel front desk or Guest Services at any theme park to let fellow Guests and Cast Members know that you're celebrating a special event! The Cast Members can personalize them for you, or if you want to make it even more special, you can take your button to the Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe in Liberty Square in Magic Kingdom Park and have an artist personalize it for you! I did this on a recent trip for my daughter as we celebrated her Sweet 16, and she loved the attention and extra wishes she got from wearing the button and now it doubles as a souvenir to commemorate her milestone birthday trip! If you're staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you can even surprise your girls with an in-room floral gift that you can order in advance!

While you're out and about the theme parks, keep your eyes peeled for some other unique souvenirs to celebrate graduation! Mickey Mouse graduation ears, which are subject to availability, have been seen at assorted retail locations in the past few months. On my last trip in March, we saw the graduation ears available at the Emporium in Magic Kingdom and World of Disney in Disney Springs! You can also find a variety of 2024-dated souvenirs to commemorate their graduation year if you're looking for something a little more subtle! Another option would be an initial ring available at Ring Carvers in Disney Springs or outside the Mexico Pavilion in EPCOT! My panelist pal Jennifer just researched these unique souvenirs for another guest - how cute would it be to carve their graduation year, school name, or mascot to commemorate the occasion?

Be sure to capture your magical memories with Memory Maker on this trip also! Your girls can wear their caps and gowns, graduation accessories, alumni shirts, or something to represent their next adventures while a PhotoPass photographer captures the magic! You can also stop by the Disney PhotoPass Studio in Disney Springs to have some special photos taken without having to reserve an advance appointment! Once you've returned home, you can make an assortment of photo gifts with all the pictures you took!

Paige, I hope this helps you find a little extra magic with your girls as you celebrate the end of one chapter and the start of a new adventure in each of their lives! There's truly no better place to celebrate chasing your dreams than Disney, and I hope all of your girls' dreams come true!

    Congratulations!
    Alison
