I have twin girls that I would like to take on the Disney Dream. They love waterslides and i know that at 3.5 y/o they will likely not meet the height requirement for the aqua duck, this will likely be a huge let down, is it better to wait another year?

    Hi Connie!

I'll be honest with you,   My children and I love Aqua Duck, but we love the older ships too, and they don't have that water ride.  There's no way that it would put me off from booking a Disney cruise.  The height requirement for Aqua Duck is 42" tall.  Kids under 7 must ride with someone 14 years of age or older.

My son, who does ride on the Aqua Duck also loves the water slide at Mickey's Pool.  I think your girls will too.  All the younger kids do.  By the way, the wait time on Aqua Duck vs. the Mickey Pool slide is like night and day.  The girls won't have to wait very long for their turn on their Mickey slide.

I hope this helps you decide Connie.  I really don't think the girls with be very disappointed when they realize they have their own slide to play on.  Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel!

Magic Kingdom still takes my breath away, but my favorite place to be is on a Disney ship looking at the horizon and breathing in that crisp, clean ocean air!  I love planning Disney vacations for others and making sure it's more than they dreamed. Learn More About Marisol
