I see Tusker House Restaurant is Family Style Is this All you can eat?

    Jambo Laura!

Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. Character dining is such a fun way to get a special moment with your favorite Disney characters!

Dining with Mickey and pals at Tusker House is one of my family's favorite ways to fuel up for a day in Disney's Animal Kingdom. Traditionally, the meal is served buffet style and could return to that at some point; however, right now food is brought to your table family style. Either way, it's delicious and all-you-care-to-enjoy. Basically, if there is anything you want extra of, just ask for it, and your server will happily bring it out. Lunch and dinner are great options, but my kids love the pastry basket, Simba waffles, and Jungle Juice at breakfast. Bonus: at the end of your meal you can ask your server to send you off with a beverage to go. It's perfect if you need just one more cup of coffee before hopping in line to experience Kilimanjaro Safaris.

Although character dining is modified right now, you'll still get a chance to meet Mickey, Goofy, Daisy, and Donald from a distance and take some cute photos.

Hope this helps. Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
