I will be turning 37 on our next trip to WDW. We are staying at the Grand Floridian. Do I get any special treats or are those reserved for the little Princesses? Thank you, Nicole S

    Hi Nicole,

Of course!  It does not matter what age you are, WDW is ready to celebrate anybody's special occasion during their trip there.  You need to have one of your family members go to the front desk of your resort and tell them that you are celebrating a birthday during your trip and if there is anything special that can be done for you?  A cast member will then ask which day you will be celebrating your birthday and what your favorite character is as well as your name and room number.  All I will tell you apart from that is just wait for a special surprise!  Sometimes select "Deluxe" WDW Resorts will even go above and beyond the normal surprises that they have for children and may even have something extra special delivered to your room (but this is not guaranteed.....it is something I have experienced at the Grand Floridian Resort and at the Contemporary Resort although it was a few years ago and I am not sure this "extra surprise" is still being offered for adults celebrating birthdays, anniversaries, etc....), you will just have to wait and see what surprises they have up their sleeves for you.  I hope you have the most fabulous birthday celebration EVER at Walt Disney World.  Have a magical day!

    Best wishes,
