Jennifer from FL Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I am turning 50 at the end of November. I would like to plan a WDW vacation for myself and my children. Can you help me plan something for about 3-4 adults including parks, hotels, and maybe water parks?

    Hi there Jennifer!

Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney with your question!

I'm thrilled to hear you're planning a magical vacation with your family to celebrate your big milestone birthday! What a perfect place to celebrate your 50th, as Walt Disney World Resort will also be turning 50 this year. The World's Most Magical Celebration begins October 1st, 2021, with all four theme parks joining in on the fun with special added touches and celebrations. The 18-month anniversary celebration is going to be amazing!

To begin planning your vacation, you have several avenues to choose from. Some Guests prefer to build their own trip, using the Walt Disney World Resort website. While on the site, you'll have access to a Chat feature in the Help Center (when available) that connects to a Cast Member that can answer questions along the way.

You can also call Walt Disney World directly at (407) 939-5277, for assistance with resort/package booking and tickets. At this time, call volume is very high, and wait times are much longer than usual. (The "hold" music is amazing, though, so if you have time to put your phone on speaker and wait, it's like a Disney mini-dance party!)

My best recommendation is to try and connect with an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner. These travel agents, that specialize in Disney vacations, offer their services at no extra cost to you. I've compared the numbers to what I would pay if I booked my trip myself, and it's not one penny more to use an expert! Disney Vacation Planners can help take all the guesswork out of planning a Walt Disney World visit. They can help you choose the best Disney Resorts Collection hotel for your travel party, purchase Theme Park Tickets, secure Disney Park Pass reservations, make Advance Dining Reservations, and also help you save money! My Disney Vacation Planner stays up-to-date on any discounts or offers that come along after I've booked my trip, and she's saved me lots of money through the years. To find an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner near you, a simple Google search should help find someone in your area. Another way to find someone great is to ask friends who they used to plan their trips!

As for us, here at planDisney, we love to sharing our knowledge and experience from our many Disney vacations through the years. We are a group of Guests, just like you, that have "been there, done that" when it comes to anything Disney. We are moms, dads, grandparents, and more that have tried all the restaurants, experienced all the attractions, stayed in all the resort hotels, and we definitely have our favorites! We would love to answer your questions and help make a little extra magic during your Disney visit. Please come back and visit us here, or check us out on Instagram for our latest tips.

Hope this helps, and you're soon on your way to planning a practically perfect visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth!
