Hello, I just turned 18 this past December and was wondering if I go to Mickeys Halloween Party, can I still participate in the trick or treating to get candy? Just was wondering if there was an age limit.

Hiya, John! Or maybe I should say “boo to you!”

Thanks for sharing your question with us. It may be the start of Cool Kids’ Summer at Walt Disney World, but it’s never too early to be thinking about fall celebrations at the theme parks and resort hotels. Since we’re about halfway to Halloween, the Disney Parks Blog has begun previewing the grim and grinning special events you’ll be able to enjoy at the Disney Parks later this year. Including Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

I’m happy to inform you that there is no age restriction for trick-or-treating at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, and you are more than welcome to fill your bag with candy as you enjoy the festivities. Some of my fellow planDisney panelists and I participated in the trick-or-treating fun last year, and it was awesome to have a stash of candy back at my hotel room for mid-day park breaks during the rest of my trip.

If you plan to wear a costume to the party, make sure to read over the specific costume guidelines for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

I hope you have a fantastic visit to Walt Disney World later this year, John. Don’t hesitate to come back if you have more vacation planning questions. You’re as welcome as can be at planDisney!

    Magical travels!
