Hello, Hannah,
This is a great question. There isn’t specifically anything in the
Disneyland Resort dress code that prohibits accessories like your choker. However, Security Cast members at the entrances to the Disneyland Resort theme park and
Downtown Disney District areas have the discretion to promote the
safety and
security of Guests. If you have any doubts about any item in your wardrobe or bag, you might wish to either leave it behind or give yourself enough time to return the item to your vehicle or hotel room if asked.
I understand the concern you may have. During a recent visit to the Disneyland Resort, my daughter had a similar concern about an accessory she likes to wear. While our
Good Neighbor Hotel was just a short walk away, she opted to leave it back in our room. In the end, she was glad to not have to worry about it both at the security checkpoint and during our explorations of the theme parks. I hope things work out for the best during your visit.
With or without your choker, I hope you have an enjoyable time at the Disneyland Resort, Hannah. If you have any more questions, I hope you’ll visit us at planDisney again soon.
