On Tuesday January 5,we have breakfast at Chef Mickey's, 8:35 am. Any tips suggestions on when to arrive at park? Where to park? What to expect? 2 adults and 3 kids (5, 3, 1)

    Hi Basia,

Chef Mickey's is one of my family's favorite character meal locations, and a wonderful choice to start a Disney Day!  While the characters are entertaining your kids, your family can enjoy a wonderful breakfast buffet filled with options, including:  Mickey waffles, omelets, breakfast potatoes, french toast, pancakes, breakfast pizza, sausage, fresh fruit, cereals, danishes, bagels, cinnamon rolls, blintzes and much more!

If you are staying at a Disney resort, I would recommend using Disney transportation to get to your breakfast.  Disney runs early "character breakfast" buses before the parks open to help ensure that guests arrive at their meals on time.  Just ask the concierge at your resort where and when to catch one.

If you are staying off property, I would recommend driving directly to the Contemporary Resort.  Plan on arriving at the security gate about 25 minutes before your reservation to allow time to check in (the security guard will ask for your name and reservation time, confirm your information, and then direct you to the appropriate parking area).

Chef Mickey's is a great choice if your family plans on heading to the Magic Kingdom after breakfast, as you can simply walk to the park via the walkway at the Contemporary or hop on the monorail after breakfast.

    Have a wonderful day!
