Welcome BACK, Joan!
It's great to see that you're coming back Home to Walt Disney World Resort!!
So much has been introduced since your last visit - are you ready to Play Big in Andy's backyard and explore Pandora - The World of Avatar?
I'm an Air Force Wife, and my family is so thankful for these wonderful
Walt Disney World Resort U.S. Military Promotional Tickets. Tickets purchased on base do need to be validated before their first use, which can be done at
any Guest Relations location. While the actual validation process takes just a few minutes, there can be a bit of a line in the morning due to other guests who are also having issues.
While there isn't a Guest Relations location at the Ticket and Transportation Center, there is one just outside the gate of each Disney Theme Park, Water Park, ESPN's Wide World of Sports Complex, and at Disney Springs. You are more than welcome to visit any of these locations after your arrival, but do note that each location's hours are the same as its park hours for that day. The Guest Relations location at Disney Springs is open pretty late, usually until 10:00 P.M. on a weekday and 11:00 P.M. on a weekend.
Yes, you can absolutely purchase the Military priced Memory Maker at the same time that you validate your tickets. This is what I do, and it's a nice two-birds-one-stone situation. One time I did forget to purchase the Memory Maker until day three of our vacation. Even with the delay, all the photos we had previously saved were included once finally purchased.
I hope this helped, Joan, and We'll See you Real Soon!
