Welcome back to Disney Parks Moms Panel, Leslie!
You are going to LOVE touring
Walt Disney World during the holiday season!
Peak seasons may mean a longer wait for some experiences; however, planning ahead can help you enjoy your vacation with no problem. For example, guests are advised to check in at
Advanced Dining Reservations early. Bring your party to check-in so that if a table is ready, you can be seated right away. If a table is not ready, ask how long the wait is and have an activity planned that will help to keep little ones occupied. Nearby entertainment, kid-friendly shops and play areas are great to have up your sleeve, should the need arise.
Mapping out distractions while one adult waits for your table to be ready is easy, too. Throughout
Epcot's World Showcase, live entertainment,
Disney Phineas and Ferb: Agent P's World Showcase Adventure and
Kidcot Fun Stops are all great activities that can help pass some time while your table is being readied. Other parks and resorts have great activities to keep your little ones occupied, too.
Should you cancel a reservation within 24 hours of dining, you may be charged $10 per person; plus, at peak season, all other locations may have no same-day Advanced Dining Reservations for you to enjoy. Sticking with your original plan may result in the most magical mealtime memories together; after all, it's Christmas and you are in the most magical place on Earth!
Send more questions as you plan, Leslie; we love to help!
