Can a TS dessert and/or beverage be substituted for any other item on the table service menu?

    Hi Wendy!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with this question about the Disney Dining Plan.

When dining at a Table-Service location for lunch or dinner, you will receive an entree, dessert and non-alcoholic beverage (or one buffet/family-style meal). You may be able to substitute your dessert for another item. Just ask your server if any substitutions are available. Although substitutions are not guaranteed, I've always found that Cast Members do their best to accommodate you. There are no substitutions for the non-alcoholic beverage at Table-Service locations.

The rules for Quick-Service dining are a bit different. If you are using a Quick-Service meal credit for lunch or dinner, you will receive an entree, dessert and non-alcoholic beverage. The dessert and/or non-alcoholic beverage may be substituted for any item that is an eligible snack at that location. It's important to note that you have to do the substitution in same transaction; you are not able to save the snack and redeem it later.

I hope this helps with your planning, Wendy. Please let me know if you have any additional questions about your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort.

    Wishing you magical memories!
