Hello, Tori!
I’m so glad to hear you want to plan a trip to the
Disneyland Resort during the holiday season. The Happiest Place on Earth will be extra merry and magical thanks to all the holiday-themed decor, attractions, food and entertainment from November 9, 2018 until January 6, 2019.
At Disneyland Park, highlights will include specially-themed attractions like Haunted Mansion Holiday and “it’s a small world” Holiday, A Christmas Fantasy Parade, and the “Believe...In Holiday Magic” Fireworks Spectacular. After the fireworks, “snow” falls in the skies above portions of the park! There’s nothing like gazing upon Sleeping Beauty Castle when it’s all gussied up with twinkling icicle lights and garland.
At Disney California Adventure Park, Disney Festival of Holidays will bring festive music, dance and food inspired by many cultures! The Festive Foods Marketplace will offer kiosks serving multicultural holiday fare that celebrates culinary traditions from around the world. Another must-do is Cars Land, where you can experience Mater’s Jingle Jamboree and Luigi's Joy to the Whirl, two Cars Land rides that will be all decked out for the holiday season!
I highly recommend experiencing the
“Holiday Time at Disneyland” Tour. It’s a guided walking tour through both parks that introduces Guests to Disneyland holiday traditions from around the world. My family took this tour together a few years ago and loved every magical moment! I hope this helps, Tori, and that you have a perfectly pixie-dusted vacation. Please write back with more questions as you continue planning your trip.
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
