    I've been trying for weeks to make a dinner reservation but can't. The Carnation Cafe was closed but reopening on 9/16/2021, I've tried to make a reservation everyday, several times a day) since 5a on the 16th. What is going on with this place?

    I was so pleased when the Disney Parks Blog announced that many of my favorite dining experiences would be returning to the Disneyland Resort. Among them is the much-anticipated return of Carnation Cafe! I can certainly understand why you're trying to secure a dining reservation for this classic dining location!

    Dining reservations at the Disneyland Resort can be especially tricky! That’s why I always recommend booking as soon as possible if you have your heart set on a certain location, date and time. Dining reservations can be booked up to 60 days in advance, using the Disneyland Mobile App, via the Disneyland Resort website or by calling (714) 781-DINE (714-781-3463). But, if you’re unable to snag a reservation at your desired location, don’t lose hope! I recommend checking back closer to your desired date, you may be able to snag a coveted dining reservation due to someone else’s last-minute cancellation. If all else fails, check with the Cast Member at the host stand of your favorite restaurant to inquire if there is walk-up availability on the day of your visit. I have had luck with this method in the past. It is definitely worth a shot.
