Hi Ashley,
The Grand Floridian is such a beautiful resort; what an absolutely fantastic place to stay while at Walt Disney World. Because it is the flagship resort and quite popular, I would encourage you to make your reservations soon.
To help with planning the must-see attractions, you may find the
Magical Beginnings Guide helpful (however, Toontown is currently closed at the Magic Kingdom). You may also want to visit www.touringplans.com, which is a website that offers over 100 itineraries to help guest know what are the attractions that shouldn't be missed and what order to visit them. It is an incredibly helpful tool to assist you with making the most of your trip to WDW. I should note that there is a small cost, but one that I think is worthwhile.
Once you get your trip booked, you will also want to make dining reservations if you'd like to dine at any table service restaurants or
character meals. Reservations can be made
online or by calling 407-WDW-DINE. One of my favorite blogs to visit is www.disneyfoodblog.com; it is so fun to explore all the many dining and food experiences at WDW.
Please let us know if we can help again; we all know over overwhelming planning a first trip can be.
Have a magical time at WDW!
