Welcome to planDisney, Chrissie! You have a lot to look forward to, adding a day at
Disneyland Paris to your trip to France, and at my favourite time to visit, during the
Disney Halloween Festival!
Now, when booking a hotel for Disneyland Paris online, it is always part of a
Hotel + Ticket Package, which includes park tickets as standard for every day of your stay, including arrival and departure days. In your case, booking a one-night stay would include tickets for 2 days, which includes entry to both Disney Parks.
To make a room-only booking, you need to call Disneyland Paris to make the reservation and then add tickets on separately. I highly recommend taking the time to compare the room-only and tickets option to the cost of a Hotel + Ticket Package, as the package is such great value it can sometimes even work out cheaper.

Disney Adventure World has so many new experiences to enjoy, including World of Frozen, and has a brand-new nighttime spectacular, Disney Cascade of Lights! I highly recommend considering having 2 days’ access to the Disney Parks. Even if you only have a couple of hours on your arrival day, you could pop in to catch a nighttime spectacular, so over the trip, you can experience them both!
