    Hello, I've been trying to upgrade my current park tickets (already linked) to a magic key since they went live today, however I cannot find an option to do so on the app or online. The only option I see are to buy the passes at full price.

    Hooray! I'm so excited that you decided to get a new Magic Key to visit the Disneyland Resort all year long! You are able to upgrade a non-promotional, unexpired ticket to a Magic Key pass. However, in order to upgrade in the Disneyland app, the ticket will need to be partially used. So if you have a trip coming up, plan to use your regular theme park tickets and theme park reservations as you normally would. Then, on the last day of your trip (before the parks close), upgrade your ticket to a Magic Key pass in the app. 

    You can also upgrade your tickets at a ticket booth at the start of your vacation, but in doing so, all your current theme park reservations will be canceled and there may not be availability to make new ones for the remainder of your trip. So it's best to upgrade on the last day. Just keep in mind that your Magic Key activation/anniversary date will be retroactive to the first day that you used the tickets that you are upgrading.
