    We are trying to travel on the military discount for a Dec trip. The discount has not been announced yet. If we book a trip and the discount is announced, can your reservation be altered to include discount?

    Hi Bria!

    I am really hoping Walt Disney World chooses to extend the Special Military Promotions past 30SEPT2012.  We have really enjoyed the discounts on the resort rooms and tickets.  Last year, the extension was not announced until very close to the prior promotion expiration date, so it may be a while before we hear an official announcement.

    I would suggest booking your vacation to secure your dates and resort choices now.  If the program is extended, you can call back and see if the discount is available for your resort and dates.  Keep in mind only a certain number of rooms at select resorts are "blocked off" for the discount and you may need to be flexible with your dates of stay and resort choices if you're able to apply the discount.

    I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the offers to be extended so we can all participate in the program again after September.  Please let me know if you have any other questions, Bria.
