Hi there, Logan! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney!
You've definitely chosen an exciting time to visit
Walt Disney World Resort! We're heading into the busy spring break season, and so many Guests are traveling to The Most Magical Place on Earth to experience
all the Disney thrills. There are a lot of Walt Disney World experiences, especially at
Magic Kingdom Park, that Guests are really excited about. For example, we're eagerly anticipating the return of the fan-favorite nighttime spectacular,
Happily Ever After, on April 3, 2023. Also the amazing new attraction,
TRON Lightcyle / Run makes its debut on April 4, 2023. I suspect that this might be why you're having some trouble making plans to visit Magic Kingdom Park.
In order to enter one of the Walt Disney World theme parks, Guests currently need
valid park admission and a
theme park reservation. Before purchasing your tickets, you can check the
theme park reservation calendar to see which parks have reservation availability. I see that you listed your arrival date as April 1, 2023. I took a quick look at the reservation calendar for the first week in April, and it looks like there are a few days where park reservations for Magic Kindom are currently unavailable.
Depending on your situation, Logan, I can give you some suggestions. If you have not yet purchased your theme park tickets and your travel dates are at all flexible, it might be a good idea to postpone your visit by a couple of days. If you already have tickets and/or cannot change the date of your trip, don't worry, you still might be able to visit Magic Kingdom Park.
If you haven't already done so, I would recommend adding the
Park Hopper Option to your theme park tickets. With the Park Hopper Option, you will still need to make a reservation for the first park you plan to visit each day. Currently, park hopping hours begin at 2:00 p.m. and are based on availability. Also, you must enter the park which you made your reservation for before hopping to another park. If you cannot get reservations for Magic Kingdom Park, you could visit another park in the morning, then check your
My Disney Experience app to see if Magic Kingdom has park hopping availability. I would also suggest that you continue to check the theme park reservation calendar. Guests change their plans all the time, so you never know when a Magic Kingdom park reservation might pop up.
I hope this information helps you with planning your upcoming visit. If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to ask. We're all ears!
See ya real soon!
Samantha
