    trying ti figure out whats best for me .bringing my lili girl to celebrate her 5th birthday n would love fro her to meet someone while we there

    Hi there, Sparkle! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks for asking your question. Your daughter is going to have the time of her life celebrating her 5th birthday at the Happiest Place on Earth!

    If your daughter would love nothing more for her birthday than to meet all her favorite Disney friends, then her birthday wish is about to come true. Dozens of characters are available to meet everyday at the Disneyland Resort. Here are my best tips to meeting all sorts of new pals during your visit:

    • Download the official and free Disneyland app and select the Characters tab. This will show you exactly where and when characters are meeting throughout the park.
    • Make sure to visit Royal Hall in Fantasy Faire to meet a few princesses all in one spot.
    • Venture over to Mickey's Toontown where you can meet Mickey and Minnie and take a walk through their houses.
    • Meet Anna, Elsa, and perhaps even Olaf and Kristoff in Disney California Adventure Park.
    • Friends from Toy Story can be found in the Paradise Pier area not far from Toy Story Midway Mania.
    • Many characters freely roam certain areas of the parks so keep your eyes peeled for a familiar face.
    • Finally, bring along an autograph book and a large pen or marker. My daughter loves collecting signatures from all the characters she meets and it's a really nice memento to have after the trip is over.

    Don't forget to pick up your complimentary happy birthday button at City Hall in Disneyland Park or Guest Services in Disney California Adventure Park. Have a wonderful time at the Disneyland Resort!
