Hey there, Daniel. Welcome to planDisney. I'm so glad you've stopped by to talk about my favorite way to spend a Disney day - park hopping!
Park hopping returned to us at the start of this year, Daniel, and does look a little bit different with the park pass reservation system than it did before. Now, to park hop you'll need valid theme park admission with the park hopper feature (which it sounds like you do) and a
park pass reservation for the initial theme park you'd like to visit each day. It is not necessary, or even possible, to make multiple park pass reservations per person each day. You only need to make them for the initial park you planning on visiting each day you are going to the Walt Disney World Theme Parks. Then, on the day of, you'll need to scan in and enter that particular theme park at some point in the day before continuing on to other theme parks. Park hopping hours now start at 2:00 p.m. and last until each park closes in the evening. Even if it is after 2:00 p.m. you will need to still visit the theme park with the park pass reservation before you decide to go somewhere else. After 2:00 p.m. you are free to visit any or all of the other Walt Disney World Theme Parks. Even though park hopping now starts later in the day, I've certainly enjoyed time at all four Walt Disney World Theme Parks in one day. It was a fun challenge to see if it was possible with this new system and sure enough we had a great time!
I hope this helps break down parking hopping for you a little bit more, Daniel. It sounds to me like you are doing everything right and have it all set up just the way it needs to be. If you have any other questions about this, or anything else, please don't hesitate to stop back by and
ask me. I'm here to help.
Have fun and happy hopping!
