We are trying to have a sit down dinner on May 29th 2022 but the website indicates no available reservations. Is that correct?

Hi there, Jeff! Welcome to planDisney!

Your trip to the Happiest Place on Earth is just around the corner! Before you know it, you'll be zooming your way through Radiator Springs on Radiator Springs Racers and grabbing a delicious snack at the Cozy Cone Motel. Don't forget to bring your autograph book this time around, as Character Greetings have returned to the Disneyland Resort!

Having a nice dinner at a table service restaurant is a great way to unwind from your day while fueling up for a magical night in the parks! While reservations can sometimes be hard to come by, all table-service restaurants are rarely full this far out from your trip. Technology isn't a perfect science and sometimes the Disneyland Mobile App needs a quick tune-up. If your app is showing no availability at all, I suggest closing the app completely and restarting the search. You could also choose a specific time or just select "dinner" and play around with those options to find more openings. I currently have the app open and can see dinner reservations available at quite a few restaurants, so maybe your next try will help you find a winner!

If you're still seeing no restaurant availability, you do have a few options. Many restaurants have a limit on how many Guests they can accommodate per party, so if you're booking for a larger group, you may want to try splitting the party into two smaller reservations close to the same time. You may also want to try some of these pro tips!

First, many dining locations now utilize a Mobile Dine Walk-Up List, allowing Guests to join a waitlist on the same day they'd like to dine. Once you're within close proximity of the restaurant you'd like to visit, open the Disneyland Mobile App and use the search feature to find the restaurant. Once you're on the dedicated page for that restaurant, click "Join Walk-Up List." You'll be given an approximate wait time once you input your party's information and a notification through the app will alert you when your table is ready. These Walk-Up Lists open and close throughout the day as crowds vary, so do a quick check through the app that the list is available before walking closer to join.

Another option for some of the difficult-to-reserve restaurants, like Blue Bayou Restaurant, is to arrive just as they open and ask the Cast Member at the entrance stand if they may be able to accommodate your party. The earlier, the better here, so you'll want to hit the gas and get off to a quick start! I've had luck at some Guest-favorite dining locations using this method!

Jeff, I sure do hope my advice can help make all your dining dreams come true!

    Ka-Chow!
