Oh, bother." I’m sorry you’re having trouble with setting up the payment method for your stay at the
Disneyland Resort Hotels. This would be an important step to follow should you want to take advantage of the
Direct-to-Room service.
I spoke with Tasha, a Cast Member at the
Disneyland Hotel, who explained that these payment method linkage issues occasionally occur. She said it’s not uncommon with payment cards from international locations. My guess is that it may have to do with payment card billing information not aligning with the way that home addresses fit within the fields provided. But Tasha assured me that Guests can be taken care of quite readily at the hotel front desk. Even if the
Disneyland mobile app or the website may occasionally have these misalignments, the Cast Members at the hotel front desk are familiar with how to handle international payment cards. They will be sure to get you started on your magical vacation in no time.
Tony’s Tip: If you have valid
theme park admission and
theme park reservations, be sure to take advantage of the convenient ways to enter the theme parks from your Disneyland Resort Hotel. Both
Paradise Pier Hotel and
Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa offer exclusive entrances to
Disney California Adventure Park. And Guests from any hotel may take advantage of the
Disneyland Monorail to enter
Disneyland Park. Cast Members at the hotel will be happy to provide you with directions when you arrive for check-in.
