Trying to schedule a visit for February, 2011 for two families. Want separate rooms, but close together. What is the best way to get this? Unable to book thru website for these dates.

Hi, Terry!  The reason you cannot book online for your 2011 dates is because the rates have not yet been posted.   The rates for the following calendar year are usually posted around August.  If you would like to get your dates locked in, make your reservation by calling (407)W-DISNEY.   You can reserve your room, but note that the rates are likely to increase over the 2010 prices.  Rooms can be booked up to 499 in advance.

When booking your room, ask that your reservation be linked to the other party you are traveling with.  We often do this with my parents, and we request connecting rooms.  Every attempt will be made to have your rooms near to or next to each other.

I hope both families have a fantastic time in WDW!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
