Hello again, Chris! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
Planning a first visit to the Walt Disney World Resort can certainly be overwhelming, but it is also very exciting! There is a lot to see and experience at "The Most Magical Place on Earth" and I know you will enjoy taking it all in. Your planning will pay off very soon!
With my
little ones, we try to have a restful morning and early afternoon before heading out to
Magic Kingdom Park for
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, so I would choose the 3-day
theme park ticket option, plus Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. However, a few of the attractions are closed during the party, so if you have your heart set on riding certain attractions like
Jungle Cruise, you may want to also visit Magic Kingdom Park earlier in the day by going with a 4-day ticket, or choose the Park Hopper option for your 3-day tickets so you can hop over to Magic Kingdom Park and spend a little time there on another day.
I believe that full days can be spent at each theme park because there is SO much to do, so the Park Hopper option may not be necessary. My family rarely park hops! Since
theme park tickets can be upgraded to add the Park Hopper option, you could always choose the 1 Park Per Day option, then if you finish in the first theme park early and want to explore elsewhere, simply visit
Guest Relations or a theme park ticket window to upgrade your tickets.
I hope this helps a little, Chris! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
