Welcome back to Disney Parks Moms Panel, Samantha!
This is a great question; I am so glad that you asked!
When Guests purchase
Annual Passes to
Walt Disney World, that fantastic Annual Pass enables them to enter the theme parks for a
year, based on the specifics of the particular pass purchased. Even better? Your Annual Pass won't begin until you actually activate it by entering a park, so you'll be able to use that pass for a full year after that first use, not a year after purchase.
Your son's 5 day pass will
also be activated the first day he enters a park; no need for another ticket for yourself, though. You have
365 days of theme park fun! (He may be jealous. Best not to tell him. :-) )
You'll be able to keep track of the expiration dates of your tickets on both your
My Disney Experience account as well as by using the
My Disney Experience mobile app. This makes is super-simple to know when those perks of your pass are about to disappear.
My family loves the flexibility and savings we enjoy when we have Annual Passes. For a glimpse of some of those magical savings, check out this
Walt Disney World Passholder page. I'm sure that you'll be impressed, too!
As you plan your visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth, Samatha, be sure to send us more questions. We love to help!
