    Trying to save a little $$ and bring my own 'glow necklaces/bracelets' for our night at MK. I know they sell some at MK that cost a little more - but are they the same as I can get at the $1 store or are they different, like have Mickey ear shapes etc.? Th

    Hi Maggi,

    There are quite a few different kinds of glow necklaces, headbands, etc. for sale in the Disney theme parks at night.  They're usually pretty clever.  Some have unique Mickey shapes or lights that move in sequence.  However, I think your idea of bringing glow necklaces from home is a brilliant one.  Since there are so many different choices of light-up jewelry and trinkets, I don't think your kids will feel left out because theirs don't match what everyone else is wearing.  You stand to save a good deal of money by bringing merchandise from your local dollar store for your children to wear.  I'm sure they'll feel quite magical as they light up the night in the Magic Kingdom!
