Hello- I am trying to reserve tickets for Disneyland CA. I notice that only CA residents are allowed. If one person carries a CA License, but the other ticket holder lives in CA, but doesn't have a CA drivers license is that allowed?

    Hey there, Elisa!

Thanks for stopping in to see us at planDisney, and thanks for your question! It's so fun to see that you're planning a visit to Disneyland Resort.

Just as you noted, the Disneyland Resort theme parks can only be visited by California residents right now. Each California resident purchasing tickets and making reservations to visit Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park should be sure to bring proof of their California residency when visiting the theme parks.

You mention that the Guest who will be joining you doesn't have a California driver's license. In that case, they will want to bring some form of photo identification and some document that shows their name and their California residential address. Do they have a utility bill mailed to them in their name at their California residential address? Do they have a bank statement or financial statement or lease agreement in their name that shows their California residential address? They will want to have some document that shows proof of their California residency.

Elisa, be sure to check out the "Theme Parks and Tickets: Know Before You Go" updates for the latest information to help you plan for enjoying all the magic of the Disneyland Resort theme parks.

Here's wishing you lots of Disney magic in your day today!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
